Ms Janice Chuah is an enthusiast of innovative and fun teaching approaches that deliver results. Equipped with a Masters degree in Instructional Design from NIE/NTU, she is our centre’s curriculum specialist. During her past 10 years teaching in primary schools, she had won many awards including the prestigious School Caring Teacher, MOE Outstanding Contribution and Best Teacher gold medalist. She is well known as the ‘NO NONSENSE’ teacher who would not hesitate to ‘sack’ slackers in her charge! However, her dedication and unique teaching approaches score well with her students and more importantly, help them to score!
Ms Hazel Poon is an anchor teachers at Tuition Guru. Her mathematical endeavours dated years back when she excelled as a student all the way to her undergraduate studies and majored in Mathematics from NIE/NTU. She has almost a decade of experience teaching in primary schools. She was a former level head for Mathematics and President’s Award for Teachers nominee. With a motto of “Don’t know slowly teach until know”, her patience is unsurpassed.
Ms Nancy Goh is one of the co-founders of Tuition Guru. She is full of zest, comparable to her young and energetic students. She has a dip in education from NIE/NTU. She has built up a reputation as a dedicated teacher who knows the syllabus at her fingertips, during her years as level rep for lower primary and subject rep for English at Anglo Chinese School.
